H.E.L.P. LLC is a consulting company with three convenient locations in the Greater Chicago metropolitan area. Our team provides counseling, psychological consultation, training, educational support, and assessment services to children, youth, and adults.
We combine comprehensive services into a solution-focused, person-centered system of care. That means honoring culture and context while helping each person identify goals, build resilience, and take a next step that feels possible.

H.E.L.P. is a certified Medicaid mental health provider and an approved Social Emotional Learning, professional learning, and parent engagement provider and strategic source vendor with Chicago Public Schools.
As a Minority Business Enterprise certified by Cook County and the State of Illinois Business Enterprise Program, H.E.L.P. also partners with organizations on counseling, psychological testing, program evaluation, and educational consultation.

Founder and Chief Clinical Officer Dr. Karen McCurtis Witherspoon is an independently licensed clinical psychologist in Illinois and is authorized through PSYPACT to provide telehealth and temporary in-person practice across participating states.
That reach complements H.E.L.P.’s local presence: care and learning designed with the realities of Chicago families, schools, and community organizations in mind.
